Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Special Editions is an XBLA title of the popular TV show.
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, one of the most popular, intense and exciting game shows can now be played over Xbox Live Arcade. Eveyone knows the show, but if your someone who has lived under a rock for the past decade, WWTBAM is a game show that has you answering 15 questions. As you correctly answer them you will earn larger amounts of money. Getting a question wrong before you reach a certain checkpoint will have you leaving with the lower amount. To help you through each question you are given three life lines. Phone a friend, ask the audience, and 50/50. It's set out pritty much like the TV show, but something that you will notice rather odd, is the host. Chris Tarrant isn't their. The character modeling does have a little resemblance, but it's certainly not voice by Chris himself. Having said that, the theme tune and sounds are their, and the overall visuals look the part.
The game can be played Solo, or co-operativly with up to three friends. It doesn't support online, but local still offers a great party game experiece. Just like the show, you begin by playing fastest finger. This is very enjoyable when playing against friends, but Solo doesn't offer the same intence and excitment, due to not having to win. Everytime I started up the game I was given new questions. There's hunderds to answer and you can also download additional themed add-ons to add hunderads more questions. One of the add-ons available is South Park themed. Not only does this add hunderads of South Park questions, it also turns the audience in to south part characters, and also features a South Park charatcer in the seat.
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? SE is a great part game. If your a fan of the show, you are bound to have fun. There's tons of questions to answer, and with addition themed packs, there's always a reason to return.
